Jamie was born in London in 1975. After completing his BSc in Computer Sciences at Imperial College in London, Jamie joined the British Army as a Computer Engineer. He left the Army in 2006 in the rank of Captain.
In 2006 Jamie joined Microsoft UK in Reading as a system software developer. He became Microsoft's Head of System Software in 2012, but left shortly thereafter to join the then embryonic Blockchain corporation as a developer.
In 2016 Jamie left Blockchain to mine Bitcoin professionally. Starting with only 3 Bitmain machines (and mining less than 0.002 Bitcoin a day), Jamie has invested in excess of £500,000 of a legacy he received from his late father to expand his operation into the most profitable, top performing, and state-of-the-art Bitcoin mining rig in the world.
Jamie is married to Miranda, with 2 grown up children, Emily and Benjamin. He lives in Chelsea
